This DVD introduces an original method created by Ishikawa Toshimitsu, who is a renowned shakuhachi master with many well trained disciples. His method was established through decades of trial and error. By incorporating this into daily practice, you will acquire the techniques to control the shakuhachi naturally. It is an introductory method for playing the classic Honkyoku pieces of Yokoyama Katsuya, which were inherited by Ishikawa Toshimitsu. The DVD includes exercises such as whole tone meri, double meri, extra fingerings etc. You may select the contents according to your need.
