This bamboo is a precious madake bamboo collected in Japan over 15 years ago.
This has been stored in a warehouse by a deceased jinashi maker.
Ideal for making a very thick jinashi shakuhachi called “Hocchiku” which is often used for meditation.
Madake of this size is almost never sold, and this is a rare opportunity!
