Glossy. Can be used with other pigment.

 A light amber, close to clear lacquer, shuai is used as an intermediary in other achiving colors. (except for black)

You can also mix with shu-no-moto or shu-no-ko to achieve a RED lacquer finish. Approx.100g

For fuki urushi technique, approx.40 grams are required for one square meter application. From the secong application oward, the amount comes down to about 20g.
 

NOTE:Although Urushi contains a compound that can cause a reaction similar to poison ivy, proper handling (gloves and long-sleeve shirt), and working in a well-ventilated area will prevent an allergic reaction. Urushi is a natural material and does not contain toxic chemical additives.
