Instruments will be lent by Mejiro on the first lesson.

Instructor: Mr. Shozan Tanabe (Tozan style)
BIOGRAPHY: Born in 1961. While attending the Waseda University in Tokyo, he studied under Hozan Yamamoto (the current national treasure in shakuhachi) . He has been performimg worldwide, among others the concert in Vatican City for the Holy Father: the Pope John Paul II and the Carnegie Hall in New York. He is a member of the Japanese musical unit called "Otokogumi" (3 male koto players, 1 shakuhachi) and currently on tour across Japan. Beginners to advanced players, all are welcome for the private lesson!!
